Our dog, Charlie, has a dislocated knee due to a torn ligament. This is keeping his knee in place while the ligament heals. It helps alot.

2 out of 5 stars velcro came off after 4th use,but sellers refund policy wont allow returns on used products UPDATED!

This did fit my great pyrenees very nice, but the bottom velcro piece fell off on the 4th day.The insert sent along with the wrap said it cannot be returned if it was used and since I had used it 3 days, there was no way I could even get a refund.I stitched it back on best as I can,but now the velcro does not hold well so I quit using it and am going to get another one from a different company.I would advise to not get this from this company and get it from a place with a less strict return policy.Of course it is going to get dog hair on it, and the refund policy is zero dog hair is allowed on products you wish to return.UPDATE!!!!! was contacted by the company and they DID decide to replace the hock holder, the replacement is holding up well so far (been 2 days) I am happy they decided to help out this rescued dog. She has been thru so much. When I received her,she had broken tail, broken toes, broke off teeth, broken ribs her ear canals and drums are damaged to the point where she is mostly deaf, her nipples were burned off, she was sexually abused with vaginal and anal damage and her back leg tendons are damaged from lack of nutrition and physical damage. This brace really aids her in getting up and about.

3 out of 5 stars Sizing is way off

I purchased this hock holder in a size small for a 12-pound Shih Tzu thinking it may be too large for him because the chart indicates to up 25 pounds. It was way too small! It’s also quite stiff and even if it did fit I don’t think it was made with a small dog in mind. May be OK for larger breeds but it just didn’t work for us.

5 out of 5 stars was skeptical at first but it works!

Doesn’t seem like this simple flexible brace could help my dog’s hyper-extended hock but it works! We would take her on 4 hour bike rides and then afterwards she would be sore and stiff for 3-4 days. Now with this brace, she is back up to her normal self in less than a day! We leave it on til she is fully recovered. If we take it off too soon, then that weak leg shakes so I know this is working. Am ordered one for the other hock!

5 out of 5 stars Great Product!

This product was perfect! My dog is not a senior, but she has environmental allergies and gets hot spots on her legs where she will chew them raw. I bought this as a temporary fix while she is going through testing to find out what she is allergic to. I use it to cover the spots she chews because I would wrap them with gauze or bandages and she would pull them off or they would slide down her leg. Now with this the wounds have healed amazingly! She is such a happier/healthier dog now. And it stays up when she is playing with our other dogs. I have had this for about 2 months now and washed it in my washer to clean it and it is still holding up like new. I would definitely recommend this to others and purchase from them again.

5 out of 5 stars WALKIN’ HOCK HOLDER
sarah mcdonell

My Airdale/lab mix is 13 1/2 and is weak in the hind legs. He was dropping way down on his hock when he tried to walk. This device gives him just enough support that he can keep it more upright. I feel that though nothing will make the years roll back, there are aides such as the Walkin’ Hock Holder to help make his life easier and allow him to pursue the thing he loves most – going for a walk.S.
